Rules and Policies

Attendance:

• Students should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to allow for bathroom use, hair preparation and proper change into dancewear
• Students who arrive late may only enter with permission of the teacher
• Make ups for missed classes may be allowed within the semester and upon approval of the teacher
• BCS follows the public school policy of cancellation due to weather

Studio/Class Rules:

• No gum, food or drink other than water allowed onto the studio floor
• Parents, siblings or caregivers not allowed in studio while class is in session. BCS provides a lounge downstairs or you may wait in the front waiting area
• No cell phones allowed in the front waiting area
• No photography or videotaping without consent of the teacher
• Please do not leave small children unattended
• BCS not responsible for lost or stolen items

Etiquette:

• Always be respectful of teacher
• Always treat yourself and others with respect and kindness
• Always applaud and thank the teacher at the end of class
• No talking during class
• No hanging or leaning on barres

Dress Code:

• Girls: Leotard and tights or leggings
• Boys: Tee shirt, Leggings, dance pants or sweatpants
• A tight fitted sweater is allowed if student feels cold
• Hair should always be secured back neatly out of the face. Short hair can be secured with headband or hair clips

Tuition:

• No refunds for either adult or child classes after six months.
